Look at the lens he is holding. It isn't like he had a silver rebel and a 75-300.

I bet anyone that has a giant white lens can afford a XT+50 1.8.

(I didnt talk to that photog at the game, but he was very pleasant.)

He may have had an assignment where he just needed certain types of pictures or certain people. Happens to me all the time.

Agreed, it all depends on the assignment. If it is going to be just a shot of a certain player for a profile, or I know i am going to have to leave before the end of the game for deadlines and will only need some kind of action, there is no need to carry unnecessary equipment.

I can probably count on two hands the number of times I have purposefully carried two bodies to a football game with two different lenses. And every time I've done it I had wish I hadn't :). Of course I don't have a 400 either :).

Wow, tough crowd. I guess I am the only one that sees the humor in the situation.

Thomas certainly no offense intended from this direction. My apology if it came across that way!

Heyyyyyy! What's wrong with a Silver Rebel and a 75-300? That's what I had to start with!

I agree, it makes it alot easier to have a second body handy when needed! Sometimes it gets a bit bulky and stuff but I use that Black Rapids strap for my second body (Canon 20D with a 70-200) on it and it works great!

Hey, I started out with a black rebel and a 70-300. Only mine was a Rebel X that took film. I'm no knocking it at all.

If I am on assignment to do something strange (one person was there to take pics of the chin straps in action, no lie) I am still gonna carry extra gear to cover any situation. Who knows when something cool like a tower of water coming up out of the ground happens. Every shoot I go on is a chance to improve my portfolio.

Matt thanks for the scoop on the blackrapid strap. When I have some extra cash I may just give that a try.
