Good shots coming from a TTU fan. Clear and crisp.

I really like the first one. Very clear, especially the reflection off the helmet.

I love my Red Raiders. I will refrain from my soapbox rant on the robbery of Harrell this year.

Great shots.

Guns up!

Thank you everyone. It was cool to get up close and get some clear shots without people in the way. I'm looking forward to shooting the game on Friday.

Guns Up!

My cousin is the ORIGINAL RED RAIDER of Texas Tech. - Joe Kirk Fulton (He is the statue on campus) - My family has VERY deep roots in the greater Lubbock area.

Of course I am a Univ of Texas fan but that is besides the point :)

great shots and yes both Texas and Texas Tech got robbed this year, it is not OU's fault just the system which is horrible for the fan and wonderful for the colleges who gets PAID!

From the TTU Website:

Quote:
The Masked Rider did not become an official mascot until 1954, when Joe Kirk Fulton led the team out onto the field at the Gator Bowl. Fulton, wearing Levi's, red shirt, a black cape and mounted on a black horse awed the crowd as the team made one of the most sensational entrances ever.

How cool is that? That's pretty neat. That is some history I did not know. It amazes me the connections and information you can make on a simple photography site. Go Tech!

And that is the OFFICIAL story which is complete BS one day I will tell ya the REAL STORY on how the Masked Rider came into reality. It sure did not have anything to do with they way the college said it happened :) It is quite funny to be honest!
