I love shooting softball! (Lots o pics)

These are shots taken at the 15th annual McKinney Independent School District HS Softball tourney March 5-7.

Not one of my better shots, but this one went yard:

I love the 6th picture. What lens did you use?

Nikkor 70-300mm f/4.5-5.6G ED-IF AF-S VR, which I love. I know that it doesn't have the bokeh of the f2.8 lenses - but it does have very quick and sure focus and gives you a lot of versatility in daylight! Plus it is reasonably light. And that shot was at 300mm wide open - this lens softens up a little past 240-260mm.

What is your field location/position when you shot the ones of the left handed batter who looks like she bunted and the girl sliding into home ?

I have permission to shoot inside the fence. I was on the 3rd base line, just inside the back opening to the dugout.
