Yes, a gorgeous night it was with those kind of shots.
I really like the second from the last shot.
The slide into second base is classic.
Great shot!!

Jeff did you shoot those with your tammy 70-200? if so the one I was using was a bad copy because yours are great.

Yes. Optically I love the lens - however it has some frontfocus. I had to dial in a compensation of -17 into the D300.

It also "seemed" to help with the overal focus performance - although this is a very unscientific observation. I could be falling victim to the "A clean car runs faster on Saturday night" observation that my father shared with me as a 16 year old kid...
