I personally like #5 the best. Most parents that I know, want to see "faces" so #1 is a wash. Nice ball-on-bat photos.

Adam I guess it all depends on what you want to use them for in the end. just an overall comment Iwould say shoot a little tighter.

Adam all the images were clear and filled with action. It is always nice to have a face in the picture and they could have been shot tighter. As a parent, I would buy 6 of the 8 pictures. The only two I wouldn't buy would be the ones without the faces.

The horizons are slightly off in 5, 6 and 7. But those could be fixed in Lightroom. And, not off enough to prevent me from purchasing the pictures in 4x6s.

I vote for #'s 5 & 6. I love the stance and the concentration on the ball.

Thanks for all your feed back. I know about the shoot tighter. I think that this is something that I need to work on. I try to do all my crops in camerra. Does anyone have any suggestions on some better crops?

As far as my opinion goes I like #s 1, 5 and 6. I know that #1 doesn't show the face but for some reason it is one of those photos that I keep going back to. Also 5 and 6 due to the subject. I dont know if cropping these tighter would be beneficial to it. Any thoughts?

Thanks again.

A vertical crop on 5 and 6 would help. And, Definetly a tighter crop all around on 7.

7 would be my choice. 5 is a close second, but IMO, it needed to be just a bit slow; just enough to motion blur the ball a little.

The ball on bat photos are always great, but IMO, 2 is the best of those, since you can really see the contact.

I think 5 is the best. It beats out 6 because you can see the face and eyes more clearly and the ball is right in the picture.

I like the new crops on the first two. It might be hard to vertically crop that third one as well. As i mentioned in the earlier posts, minus the crops, I you have good images that I would buy.

The crops just enhances good images.

the crops help but fill the frame when youre shooting. #5 for sure though, can see the intensity from the girl better.
