Thanks Rick I believe I will contact them.
It is off with both my KM 7D and the Sony A 700. I am to the point I HATE it and have only had it since Christmas. If I shoot a landscape all is fine, it is like it wants to focus on infinity all the time. Manual focus is somewhat better but still not spot on.

My first 2.8 lens and I love it. All photos take with a Nikon d90. Click on the pictures then "More Properties" on the Flickr page for all the technical EXIF data on each one.

Canon 60D 17mm at 1/500 f/8 - 03-28-2012, 08:52 PM


My wife bought a Tamron 17-50/2.8 and I was so impressed with it I bought one for myself. Hers showed no CA at any aperture. Mine showed severe CA even at f/8. This is a 100 percent crop in the upper middle of the frame. I returned mine and bought a used Canon 17-35/2.8L
