Who We Are and What We Do!

Hello All,

My name is Tom Maddrey and I am super excited to be the newest sponsor of the Texas Photo Forum. We have been teaching photography to individuals and small groups for almost five years, and have been based both in Dallas and California.

Our company started after I wanted to put my two passions, photography and teaching, together. Originally, we taught destination workshops to places like Alaska and Montana, and worked primarily with nature and wildlife photographers. We did this while working various corporate, editorial, and commercial photography jobs for companies such as AEG Entertainment, University of Texas System, Schering-Plough, as well as multiple magazines, calendars, and books. More recently, we have identified those areas that we get the most questions about and dedicated workshops to these topics.

While we still do destination workshops every year (2009 dates will be announced shortly), we have built a wonderful educational classroom that is designed for learning photography right here in Dallas. We continue to grow every year, and are always on the lookout for new topics and classes.

I will always be around (if not on location) to answer questions, field comments, or help out the community any way I can. Keep updated on this forum for new announcements of classes, seminars, and get togethers.
