I know that in the photographic world, there are many who teach workshops, but do you feel confident they know what they are doing to begin with? And more importantly, can you be sure that you will actually learn something from a Workshop or Seminar?
I believe that the comments from just some of the 500+ students I have worked with over the years are the most accurate way to learn what a teacher is really like. Here are a few from my former students. "Tom is an excellent educator. He was able to simplify many of the technical pieces of photography to help make my images better. I always felt energized to go out and use the information I learned. During our time together, Tom gave me easy to use tips that I could apply immediately. If you are ready to take your photography to the next level, then you need to work with Tom." (Mary M., Richardson, TX) "More than exceeded my expectation of our initial visit. I was very thankful to receive honest evaluation from someone with Tom's background and knowledge. Very informative, an expert in his field, very easy to listen to and learn from, honest, sincere and not any big egos to contend with." (Carleen S., Burleson, TX) "Tom spent two hours with me in a personal consultation of my gear and my photography. It was the best money I have spent as he answered all my questions and helped me see more clearly how I need to proceed. Tom is a patient man. He'll answer all of your questions and you'll feel smarter for asking them! He appreciates his clients and his students. Tom's a great photographer who can take you to the next level of your own photography. I enjoyed the time I spent with Tom and have enjoyed his presentations to groups as well. If you're looking for a professional photographer with patience and knowledge, take one of his classes or sign up for a private consultation - you won't reqret it." (Lee H., Allen, TX) "Tom listens to your needs and goes straight to the heart of what your asking of him. He understands the processes he teaches and the services he offers so well, there is not a wasted moment. Tom has really done his homework. He anticipates needs and questions as well as any teacher/consultant I have called upon. If Tom is offering a class or technical skill your interested in, don't hesitate to sign up. Your needs will be met; without question. Tom is a true gentleman. Not only does he "deliver the goods", but he does it with passion and grace." (Pat H., Dallas, TX)
While I am sure these quotes look nice, come out and give us a try. We know we are the new kids on the block at TexasPhotoForum, but in time, we hope to have many many positive experiences from the members here. As always, my cell phone is available for you calls, questions or otherwise (214.701.1875). Have a great day!
