WOW. Thanks for posting this example....and costing me money. LOL I have been thinking about this lens for a few month. I still think I will rent it for a few weeks before buying one.

That photo was taken about 18 inches from her face as she was attacking the butterfly. I don't have any low light examples yet because I *just* got it but I'll try to take some tomorrow night as the sun goes down.

Here's a low-light example... sun was down and just had a few lights on in the house..

Just got this lens last week... here are a couple of examples...
