One from the air show today. I tried something new. I cut a piece of pvc pipe about 1.5 feet long. I put a 1/4 x 20 bolt in a pvc cap and stuck that on the end of the pipe. Then, I screwed on a mini ball head, so I could attach the camera. I can get the camera about eight feet up. The camera was fired with a wireless remote.

I wanted an unusual p.o.v. Despite using a 28mm lens (35mm equivalent), framing was hit or miss. Three or four shots just to get one in the ball park.

Question. I've tried saving in sRBG and Adobe RBG, but colors on this site aren't the same as I'm getting in Photoshop. Maybe it's my hosting site (photobucket). What do I need to do to get my colors to display correctly here? The colors you are seeing may be a little bland and too warm, based on what I'm seeing.

What do you do with a missed shot? Camera shake, slow shutter speed, bad panning technique. I think I've come up with a solution. Create a frame from a gun camera (movie camera that runs when the guns are firing). The film was often grainy, blurred from the motion of both aircraft and poorly exposed.

I converted to black and white, added noise, then superimposed the edges from a real gun camera frame.
