This is a discussion on I'm not an auto photographer... within the Transportation forums, part of the Showcase category; But I did shoot these for a story I'm doing. For the uninitiated, it's a 1970 DeTomaso Pantera...comments and critiques ...

Oh how I wanted a Pantera when i was a kid. Beautiful car!! Saw quite a few of them at Cars and Coffee here in Dallas this last weekend.

Critique:
1- get a polarizing filter if you're going to shoot cars. They work wonders on the reflections, especially the windsheild.

3- If at all possible never shoot an interior with the far side door open.

2- Not sure if you had control over the location? Trees growing out of the car etc, and as Bill said, Port Potty has to go. Not a very pleasing background. Like I said you may not have had control over that. Backgrounds to me are as important as the car itself. It adds another layer of emotion to the photo.

Other than the above listed items, great job on a beautiful car!!
