A Few Cars - 07-13-2011, 11:25 PM

Critique: CC:

So, some friends of a friend wanted me to take photos of their cars. I figured another opportunity to practice shooting cars this past weekend.

I decided to pull out my small flashes and do some off camera shooting with cars. ... That's tough.

Let me know what you guys think.

Poles and objects sticking out of the cars. Gotta take those cars to locations that aren't so busy. Your lighting is coming along nicely. That blue one looks tough to light. Also, grab yourself a CPL filter, the reflections killed the second photo. You're also placing the car dead center in almost every photo. Rule of thirds very important in automotive photography.

I agree on the CPL. Should help a lot. Nice to have friends that are willing victims.

I like the shots overall.

My only comment is for the Civic SI's "home depot lip mod". Ha I remember when that first started. Good to see it still being used.

^^ Thanks man.

LOL, I didn't even notice that on the Civic. Well, I guess, if it works ... it works.
