Anyone planning to go to NHRA races in Ennis Saturday 24th?

My boss has given my husband and I tickets....... Can't wait to get some shots of the cars. Any suggestions or special tips on shooting this type of racing?

Shooting from the stands, I used a 70-200. Walking the pits, I have used the 17-40 and the 24-70.

So take a telephoto if you have it and a wide angle also. The wide angle works pretty good when you are up close to the cars/people in the pits.

In the stands, my seat was just off the starting line (both years).
