Some very impressive stuff. Great job on that last interior shot. I am going to bump it to Transportation.

These are awesome. Were the commercial airlines photographed in Houston (IAH/HOU)?

Thanks everyone. Most commercial was photographed in Houston. However, the two Airbus 380's were photographed in New York.

Thank you for sharring! I admire a shot taken from another plane considering that your bouncing, it's bouncing, plexiglas etc. and still the prop is blurred.

Both the Remos GX and Twin Commander 500 Shrike were taken from a Remos GX with no doors. I was hang out of the aircraft and get an un obstructed view. The Aerostar with Houston in the background was taken from a T-34 Mentor and the canopy slides behind you to allow photography from both sides with no windows.

Very nice series. Really like the shot of the Vomit Comet (KC135). I flew in that very one from 1984-1989 doing Suit exercises during Astronaut trainings (training the crews to don and doff the suits in 0Gs), before NASA retired it.

Very nice Andrew. How did you get the ramp access? Do you work at the airport?

Both my parents worked for NASA at one time or another and I spent a lot of time in and around JSC in the late 70's through the late 80's. I would have gladly donated a kidney to travel on the Vomit Comit! Thanks guys for all of the compliments and comments!

I have walked under and around an Antonov AN-225, Massive.

I'd like to be an engineer on one just to say 32 in the green, down and locked.

I got a tour of the 225 and for the size, it's like stepping back in time when you board.

craigb456 and lfmerrell like this.

I truly envy you getting 'inside" time. My book on Anotonov has disappeared. It is an awesome span from an AN-12 to the AN-225. Huge from the perspective of having trained some on B-36s primarily engines - props and engine synching and having been a flight chief on C-124 Globemasters (Reserve at Barksdale) plus jet crewing time. Felt if they made a C-130 Herc to USN carrier folding wing specs they could fold it's wings and roll it into the AN-225.

These are some great photos!

How did get started in aviation photography? Are you the one that said there is a big market for this?
