I guess so. The car was only going 1 or 2 MPH. It was kinda windy, though.

Welded the couplings huh ... hmm. I have a similar setup. Did you use the Electrical Conduit as well?

And size is your piping? Mine is 1.5in and it's a bit wobbly ... but I guess with practice you find away around it.

Back to the photo ... very sweet. Did you add the sunset?

2" OD Aluminum (2" Rollease Tubing from av-outlet.com). I chose this because I wanted thin-walled tubing that was also very rigid.

Couplings are 2"ID aluminum tubing from speedymetals.com. The couplings are welded to one section and clamped to the other.

The main tubing had to be shaved off on the end a fraction of an inch to get the couplings to slide over it.

There are 3 - 4 foot sections. I found adding the cable helped a lot with the flex. Yes I added the sunset. You can see in the previous post that the sky was not too interesting that day.
