Your car photos should be based on several points. The shape of the car, the color, the background and the available light.
I believe the most important point is capture the "personality" of the car. If it's a sports car, then you want it to LOOK fast and agile. An low, angled POV will add a lot of momentum to your G35. Partly cloudy day seems to work best for me. Avoid areas that have scraps of paper or trash in the scene (or photoshop them out later!)
Take a couple dozen different shots, you are bound to get at least two that you really like.
