Pro-2 and Pro-4 Trucks at TMS - 10-27-2007, 05:09 AM

Both have 800 hp motors, the Pro-2 are 2 wheel drive and the Pro-4 are 4 wheel drive. They both are loud and haul a**.

Actually this first one is a Pro Lite which is based on light duty truck and the engine has a maximum power of 300 hp.

Here are the big boys:

Carl Renezeder won 2 races during this event in his Lucas Oil truck and he was stoked!

Robby Gordon racing:

Robby Gordon crashing (after the fire is out):

Side by side in mid-air:

Most of the time not all the pieces of the trucks make it back:

Tearing up the track:

That's it for the off road photos for a while, next will be NASCAR next weekend.

Coverage of these races will be on NBC tomorrow (Sunday) at 1:30 CST (I think that's the correct time) for anyone that wants to watch some action!

What was the turnout like for the event? Did it appear TMS will be a yearly stop for this series?

Friday was real light, but Saturday filled about 5000 of the 12,000 seats. The drivers want to come back so it just depends on whether CORR sees growth. I think if they come back it will grow through word of mouth. This sport has primarily been a CA, NV, AZ sport, so they have to give it some time to catch on. I think they could fill the stands in a year or two.

Yeah, I was trying to avoid those flying parts and lots of flying dirt. I was shooting from the middle of the track, I'm one of the guys that were in the yellow vests.

It was a blast and now I'm thinking of buying a dirt buggy.

Boy the photography "rest" you took the last year has paid off. The quality on these are as good as it gets. Great panning technique as well.

See you out there today.
