NASCAR Nextel Cup Race - 11-05-2007, 12:58 PM

Here's a few from Sunday's race. If you want to check out the rest of my images from Sunday you can follow this link.

Can you tell I don't like plain horizontal images?

Jr.

Jeff Gordon.

Side by side.

A different perspective during the starting line up.

A different side of Jeff Gordon. With his daughter before the race.

Even had some night racing.

I've been waiting for this post. The images look great. Love the one of the car hoods all lined up. That's great you were able to get Jeff Gordon and his daughter. I wonder what they do with her during the race? (noise-wise)

Panning shots are superb especially considering the cars are going around 180mph at the time...

It was a good race. Glad to see a new winner at TMS.

Thanks Rick and thanks Joe.

There were plenty of throw aways trying to do the panning at the lowest speeds possible. I took it down to 1/125th and got 1 usable shot at thtat speed so I had to take it back up. The good thing is that you can shoot fairly high and still get motion blur because they are moving so fast, but you also get alot of shots of half a car.

Canon 1dmark III 10 fps. but that would be cheating. I'd just have 10 shots of half a car....

Great shots and it was a good race, even from the stands.

I have 8fps so that's not really going to help, but I guess I could put 2 images together to make 1 whole car.
