NASCAR race from the stands

Due to my son's facination with the cars of NASCAR, I spent most of Sunday in the stands having a great time with him as our own David Bailey got to shoot down close.

Here are a few from my perspective...

That sea of red is no mistake. JR rules TMS. Should be interesting to see what the stands look like next April.


The Bud crew anticipating the #8 cars arrival. I like how their feet are a few inches from the ground (which they hit running):


Artsy I know but I like the reflections of the cars in the Suite windows:


I did manage to spend a few minutes in the pit area and just couldn't take the massive crowds both in the pit and garage areas. It was total chaos:


Before I left though I saw Clint Bowyer in an interview (or shooting a commercial):


Fun stuff. Lots and lots of DSLR's there this year.

You'll still see a red Bud crew, they just wont be on Jr's car anymore. They will be working on Kahnes car next year.

The car itself looks really nice. Kudos to Bud to keeping that classic look with subtle changes. It's strange to see Bud on a Dodge though.
