Urban Motorcycle Shot - 12-13-2007, 11:45 PM


Hasselblad 503CWD
2x580ex II Fired with pocketwizards, direct.
Also shot with a Horseman 4x5 correcting for distortion on the building and adjusting the plane of focus to match the motorcycle.. When I scan the film, I will post it up.

There's one thing I don't like about this pic..............

It's not a Yamaha R1! :)

Eww... The only problem I have with the yamaha's is the fact that they make you put a lot of your weight over the handle bars. Not very comfortable for me. Plus I don't need an R1 for cruising around the city or going through the canyons.

I agree with you on that. I wish it was less stress on the shoulders and the lower back. It does get tense after a couple of hours of riding.

But, I love the style and the power of my R1. It's a lot of fun.

Nice photo... i would crop the vertical down a shade, IMO.

Too bad it's not a CBR, I just hit 21k on mine last weekend.

Cool, I also have a 97 CBR F3.

Love that thing, but, for the 07's the gixxer was the most comfortable one for me. And I like the way it looks best ;-).
