Hey this Friday and Saturday the [URL="http://www.adrl.us/"]American Drag Racing League/URL] Descends on Houston Raceway Park in Baytown with its season opening Dragapollza if it holds to form there will be well over 100 cars there with 4 different classes Pro Extreme (the really bad boys cars running well into the 3's at 190+) pro Nitrous (the second fasted some into the high 3,s at 185+ and Extreme 10.5 (basically the same cars just one thinner tires cant be more than 12 " wide vs no limits on the other cars, these are all 1/8 mi races.
Best of all its FREE Tiremax Stores and Oriellys should both have plenty of Free passes

Saturday it all kicks off at noon with 2 more q rounds then eliminations after that, So come on out you can get GREAT shots from the stands even plus just walk around the pits these cars are amazing and the racers are great guys too they usually have handout cards for the kids pictures etc.

Thks a lot. If the weather permits, I'll be there with earplugs & something to shoot with.
I'll have the 70-200 for sure and would the 300 2.8 be sufficient or should I go with the 500 instead? (I'll have 1.4X & 2X if needed) I noticed the 2 in this thread were shot with 600 s. Since mine will be strictly for my own amateurish uses, I didn't know if all that reach was necessary . Sorry to be such a bother, but this is a 1st for me(you can tell right?)LOL. Thks again!
