I was inspired by iCe's "Warp Speed" on my way back from dropping my son off at Summer Camp this weekend. Driving w/b on Highway 80 near Grand Saline I took a few shots. Not as nice as iCe's by I gave it a go while trying to drive.

I took a few before the overpass and didn't like how they turned out, when I saw the overpass I grabbed my camera quickly and snapped 2. This was the best one. I used the D3 and the 14-24 at 24mm (ISO 100, f/18 @ 1/10th). I'm really loving that lens.

It's on my 2nd post. ISO 100, f/18 @ 1/10th.

Thanks for the comments.

That looks like the hood of a 2007 Red Hummer H3 ? The road is aproximately 103 degrees and the grass was mowed on Tuesday .... at 8:46a.m.

I found out that I could hand hold my 14mm lens and get pretty sharp results, assuming somewhat smooth road (relative to what I'm not sure), at around 1/30th. If you try again, and you know you will, you're hooked now try boosting ISO until exposure is good at 1/30th and f18
