World Street Nationals Orlando Florida

My action shots from the 2008 World Street Nationals,

was kind of a let down, 140 cars bought tech cards. They started off with super pro class first thing every monring, so First round on Friday morning was horrible, hardly anyone could get down the track. Finally in the second round they started hooking and flying.

So with the low car count, they decided to run 2 Rounds of Qualifiying Friday, and 3 rounds on Saturday, and eliminations on Sunday. Well Sunday mother nature said no, and after the 3rd set of cars down the track Sunday it opened up and started raining, then it stopped, track got dried off, and it started raining again, so they canned the race for the day.

So the decided to run the race on Monday, half the cars leave, and they also said if the race somehow has to be cancelled monday that after first round the money would go to lowest ET in each class, wich was retarded because half the runs in the first round were Bi-runs, so that meant if you wanted a chance at the money if it rains out, you have to go all out on your bi-run. So on a Bi-Runs we had guys breaking and one guy put it in the wall, witch these things happen in racing it just sucks to have it happen on a bi-run.

Anyways, I was dissipointed with this race, Theres a big race of this same kinda in Bradenten FL the weekend before, witch I think is going to start getting bigger and eventually cast a shadow on the Orlando Race.
