First U/W Shoot! - 05-26-2009, 09:51 AM

Okay, so I tried my hand at an underwater shoot (people) for the first time. There's a local production of The Tempest going on so casually I asked the director if he'd like to do the promo shots underwater. He jumped on the idea so we did it last weekend -

I used the "300" filter in Lightroom to give it more of an edgy feel.

Ideally I would have loved to have a 17-35mm lens to use, but they were all rented out at Competitive, so I had to wing it with my 50 1.4.. all in all, not bad, but I hope to do better next month when we do all the character shots u/w...

C&C appreciated!

Daylon, off to a good start for a first try. I really like the effect used on the last one.

I really like the pictures.

My only cc is that the bubbles interfere with the girl on the right in #2.

I guess it's good it's there to show it's "underwater".

I also love the hair of the girl in the back.
