I just joined TPF today, recommended by a friend, and am fairly new to forums so hopefully this first posting works. My goal is to spend more time learning and improving. Attached are some images taken in the Philippines last September. The images are

1) Flamboyant cuttlefish
2) Ornate Ghost Pipefish
3) Mating Mandarinfish
4) Lionfish
5) Reef scene from Verde Island

WOW just gorgeous shots!!
I made my very first dives on Palancar Reef about a week ago. I want to get my diving skills much better so I can take some underwater shots.

Thank you Therese. Cozumel is always a favorite dive destination of mine and it's a short flight from Texas for world class diving. You will certainly get hooked on underwater photography. If you are not already aware, Houston has some excellent underwater photographers at HUPS (Welcome to the Houston Underwater Photographic Society) which is a sister organization to our DFW DUPS (Dallas Underwater Photographic Society (Dallas Underwater Photographic Society, DUPS)). I learned much of my underwater photography skills from members at DUPS.

Hi James,

The first three images were taken in Dumaguete, and the last two images are from the Puerto Galera area.
