So guess why i just put a deposit down on a trip?

Well ive done it. When i went to Raja Ampat this past August, as some of you may know, i got pretty sick and was only able to do 11 of the 36 dives . I told myself this just meant i would have to go again sometime. Well, seeing as some continental stock i bought a year ago just tripled in value, i decided to sell it and make that trip happen sooner than i thought. Going over the same dates i did last year (july 30 - Aug 15), and was able to talk my father into going with me. So all i can say is WOOHOO!!

if any of you are interested in going, its a 10 day liveaboard and we will visit the beach and see leatherback turtles coming ashore to lay eggs. cost is $2000 for the boat. you cover your own airfare and any hotel you may need while there. shoot me a pm if youre interested. theres a few spots left.

Which live aboard? We will be on the Adventure Komodo at the end of April, beginning of May. It's one of the more painful places to get to. We've got to stay an extra night in Manado as the Silk Air flights from Singapore are limited.

im going on the MV Raja Ampat with SOLO (Save Our Leatherbacks Operation). should be good. my dad wants to stay an extra week in Palau since we will already be so close to it. I said okay with no hesitation

Talk about a PITA to get to! i had to go from houston>LAX>Taiwan>Bali>Ujung Pundang>Manad>Sorong>short boat trip to the live aboard! this time i think ill just go hawaii>guam>bali and save about 20 hours in layovers!
