A hop, skip and a jump for you guys over there. - 02-02-2007, 02:58 PM

I've just returned from a great destination where the coral was plenitiful and healthy, natural shark encounters with more sharks than I could count and lots and lots of new dive sites to be discovered and dived.

You can apparently get to this destination from Miama / FL with a 40 minute flight yet not another dive boat, diver or in fact any other boat on the water. Quite frankly, I couldn't believe believe that such a place could exist on the doorstep of a nation with the most divers in the world. The dive centre I used is but a 10 minute drive from the local airport which is super convenient.

TBH, I'm not even sure I should tell you about as, if I go back, I'd it like to remain undiscovered and I can enjoy some fabbo dives.

Here's one for you:

and another:

The last is a mix of Magic Filter + strobe.

Hope you like.

Tim

Well if you won't say where it is, you at least have to post all remaining photos of it.

Nice colors, btw

That second shot is awesome, with the coral, boat, diver, and the sun rays coming through.

Thanks for the comments guys.

I thought I'd just tease you a little - see the website for the resort here: http://www.coralcavernsresort.com/

It's a new dive centre on Andros Island. If you get in touch tell em I sent you.

Great shots! I was thinking for a second that you went diving in Cuba!

Cheers

Hi James,

Thanks for the comment.

I'm in the process of writing an article on the sites for UWP mag so there will be more photos there. If you can't wait then more photos are available on the Digigreen website gallery.

Cheers,

Tim

Thanks for the comments.

You know, a few people tell me they really liked the first shot ( I've also posted these on my own site) but whilst I'm happy with the result, it's not really a fav of mine. Can I ask what there is about it that you really like?

Nice shots! It's been so long since I've been in blue water... grr.. need to start planning that next dive trip. Was thinking Bonaire, but Andros looks NICE!
