Back from Costa Rica - 05-18-2007, 05:18 PM

Well, i just got back from a 6 day trip to Costa Rica, and unfortunately i was kind of dissapointed with the diving, as the best visibility we had the entire week was about 20 feet! There was so much plankton in the water. I was still able to get a few decent photos though. Here are the ones i think are worthy of posting. Let me know what you think.

man my mother and grandmother are from Costa Rica and I have never been. I was planning on going last Christmas and stay with some cousin's but wife lost her job and we went into budget mode. I hope to go this year.

Cool stuff. That eel is mean looking.

Love the shots! You've got one almost exactly like mine below. I'm so flattered you saw the greatness in my technique and decided to use it. Hehe, just kidding. What kind of ray is that last ray shot? I've seen those before, but the name escapes me.

the latter of the 2 rays is a guitar fish. fairly uncommon in costa rica.
