I figured this was the best place to put this series since they were taken underwater.

I got a Ewa Marine U-AX housing for my bday so this was my first trip to try it out. These were shot with a 300D, 580EX, and the kit lens.

Waiting for a bite

Fish on!

The fight!

The landing.

The release to fight again another day!

I have to say this was a lot harder than I originally thought it would be. It's hard trying to photograph a fish that is going buck wild right in front of your face with a sharp hook sticking out and your camera in a plastic bag!

Thanks! It was a lot of fun (although, I do enjoy doing the catching as well!)

Man, makes me want to go fishing again! My youngest brother fishes that lake regularly. I have been with him on several occasions when we have caught several hundred pounds of fish (all catch and release). I think the largest I have caught out of that lake was about 8.6 pounds. Little bro, "The Real Fisherman" has landed a couple of 11 & 12 pound monsters outta there.

I really like your 'third person' view of the fishing experience too! I looked at the diving photos and I KNOW I couldn't do that! LOL I know the depth of that lake in some places is over 200 feet! (Depending on the overall lake level) and that is alot of water!
