Just got a T2i, noticed it uploaded in .mov. Are there any free .mov to .avi converters around? I tried google for a while, got spamware or outrageously priced converters. I appreciate the help, tried searching but got nothing

I don't know about free, but Quicktime pro is only $30.

Got a converter, next problem is...I converted it to .AVI and when I open it up in windows movie maker; It comes out as a blank screen but had audio. I try to open up in windows media player and everything works fine

Yeah I already found mpeg streamclip from googling. thanks for the help though

No worries. It's a good tool. I've been using it since Philip Bloom blogged about it for the 5DMKII workflow.
