Anyone know if the videos from the various video ready Canon DSLRs have the ability to have Time & Date stamps automatically displayed on them?
Or does the software that comes with it, or even aftermarket software, have the ability to pull the T/D from the exif (or whatever it is called in video) and place it on it?
Reason I ask is I may start using a Canon DSLR for surveillance video needs since the resolution & lowlight ability with my current lenses looks to be better than most Camcorders in the sub $1500 range. And for evidential purposes, and practicality, have the time/date on the vid is preferred.
