Andrew, if you have not done that already, i will save you a few hassles since i got plenty of storage devices connected and readied on ps3. Ps3 read mp4 movie renamed directly from .mov (5dm2) as corrupted file. So, no deal!

Yeah.. I almost just copied it down...
Same result you got. BLAH. Wonder if my Tversity box will stream it? Guess I need to rehook that thing up and try sometime.

My (2) HD DirecTV PVRs and Samsung HDTV will see the content, but won't play it back either. For the most part, the PS3 has been the most reliable playback device for streaming content (and that is not all that great...too quirky with content codecs, naming conventions, etc...). PITA
