I want a cop cam on my dash to record some of the lunacy I see every day on my commute. Anybody know where I can get one?

I use the V.I.O. POV camera on my helmet when I'm out on the bike and can also mount it on my truck the next time I go off highway. So far I've been very pleased with it.

V.I.O. | Point-of-View (POV) Video Cameras and Helmet Cam Accessories

Here's a sample of one I took a while back. Know that the video quality you're going to see here is less than what you'd see right from the camera because I had to cut it down in order to upload it.

They are pretty expensive and are designed to address legal, security, and metadata issues. No need to pay for all that, you would probably do better with a consumer camcorder.

Hey, I bought one of those suction cup mounts for my windshield at Arlington Camera. They are designed to hold dslr's and video cameras. Very strong. They cost about 80$ and work very well. I am using a point and shoot camera on it in video mode and I am getting great results.
