Wouldn't call it anything like a red considering it shoots 1080p. Where as a red shoots much higher res, up to 4.5k with the red one and 5k with the epic. Gives a bit more future proofing and great looking footage for perfect prints to film and use in digital cinema. Definitely a great camera at a great price and when I was getting ready to buy a full system I definitely considered it. But in the end, I decided a used red one MX package was a better buy for my uses. |
