So i am wanting to shoot some documentary footage but i dont want the wind in my audio....can any one suggest a nice mic that is either wireless and can attach to the subject or even one that has a chord but can run under a shirt at a good distance and still attach to the subject???

Sennheiser and Sony's wireless mics are nice, I've used both with no complaints. A good trick if your filming outside and your subject has a collared shirt on is to clip the mic inside of the collar instead of the outside, it works very well.

You could also do a shotgun mic from Sennheiser and add a CatHair to the mic to kill alot of the wind noise.

But yes I also agree with Nathan R. that the sennheiser wireless lav works great and hiding it within a collar or jacket is the best way.

If you can't clip the mic easily ... I would also look into some Gaffer's tape.
