I guess I'm gonna have to Google the term slider. I hope I don't get porn... it sounds dirty.

Take a look at these videos for some diy ideas for testing. I may make one with the skate wheels and PVC pipe.

Hey another Sony shooter...

But yes I've seen those PVC sliders, they look pretty cool. But I think Imma try it with a linear rail that I saw online..... That or just order a Philip bloom pocket dolly, if it ever gets back in stock.

Ended up picking a konova slider....

Hopefully it'll come soon. Gonna try to get some nice shots around San antonio. I wish I had 720p60 though...

There's a place called MicroSearch ... the next you need to rent a jib or slider.

They are more of a video rental company, but I remembered seeing the slider there.

I just go my slider in..... It's pretty dang nice. But I'm having a hard time keeping the motion steady. I've heard some people shoot at 60 fps and slow down in post for smoother action, but my camera only does 1080p24 and 720p30.

Im practicing, but any tips....

That was a cool video. I have seen the skate wheels used before. They seem to work great!

I'd be interested in knowing how you like the konova slider when you get a chance to use it.

i've been using a rail just like this one: Amazon.com: DryLin® W16-A Linear Motion System for Camera Sliders: Electronics

it works well for the price, but again, I'd be interested in how the roller bearings of the konova work. thanks.
