Canon 60D with 18-135mm Lens - 06-30-2011, 04:03 PM

Hey guys i'm fairly new into the world of cameras as far as terminology and etc. but i'm willing to learn. If anybody has a thread with newbie topics as such please post but my main question is that I mainly do videos for youtube on my channel (YouTube - ‪NoteworthyEnt's Channel‬‏) that are centered around music and day to day blogs. I am a loyal Canon camera buyer and am looking to invest in the 60D but dont really know which lens would do my kind of projects justice. If you guys decide to comment and help me out, please watch our more recent videos and see the level i'm at as far as video quality.
I'M ALL EARS (well actually all eyes lol).

Well I saw that you do a lot of indoor videos, and since you only have one lens at this time I would suggest getting the plastic-fantastic 50mm 1.8. You can buy one new for about $125, or used for about $90, which is an amazing deal. It gives you great quality and shaprness above f/2.8 and it performs well in low light.

Your shots might be a litttle tighter since you can really "zoom" out but just make sure to back out to get your subjects in frame. Also for your 18-105mm IS make sure you always have the IS on, it helps reduce camera shake in the longer focal lengths.

I hope this helps!
