The tutorials I've seen said these films are actually made up of thousands of individual photos, not video. I believe one five minute video had like 14,000 frames.

It really depends on what you are shooting. I've set up for 1 frame per second (60 per minute) and I've set up for around 5 seconds per frame (12 per minute). Shoot time is usually about an hour. Using a dolly adds complexity but it also increases the video quality by orders of magnitude.

Most video's are compilations of sequences. Imho the most difficult part is choosing the music and editing the sequences together...

Lastly... if it wasn't for Jake I wouldn't have anything worth looking at... come to think of it I still don't but it's better than it would be
