Testing the 5DmkII video with Slayer!

However, this thread is about the Canon's video feature, so the stills aren't really relevant. I think this concert was probably an extreme for the camera, so I expect better quality from a more tame show.

I've been playing with the video feature for the last two weeks and I'm constantly blown away by the quality.
But now I find myself looking at sliderails, steadycams, follow focus, etc....dangerous territory.

Yes, it's tempting to go all-in and start adding all the video goodies. I'm trying to see how much you can do with a stock camera. I think the audio is a fail on this attempt, but I've had decent audio during quieter situations with it. I'd think an external mic with level meters and a steadycam would boost this camera's usefulness ten fold!
