That is pretty cool. What did you use to capture the video? Was it a DSLR? If so how did you keep the panning so smooth?!

Thanks! I mainly used a canon 60D, but also used a T2i and GH2 for some shots.

The slides were done with a motorized slider I made out of an Igus rail and Dynamic Perceptions MX2 timelapse controller. The normal pans I just used a fluid head tripod.

Greg, I noticed a lot of stutter in the pans or slider shots in the first half. Was that just a bad feed from Vimeo, or was it introduced by the time-lapse controller? I have an Igus I haven't used yet, any suggestions on preventing stutter? Enjoyed the time lapse sunrise, it was worth the work.
