Andrew keep me posted on using your Glidecam with the 5DII. I have the 4000 for my XL2's and the 2000 for my GL2's, I know how hard can it be to balance the hole deal. I think the 2000 will be like my GL2 in a 4000 and that combo is even more difficult to balance, I have done that before and takes more finesse to get it right.

Yeah.. I was a little concerned with weight... Figure a 5D2 with 16-35 and no grip...might be workable. Of course, I'll have to go with out my field monitor. I'll let you know for sure.. and post a clip if I can.

Working on an instructional DVD this Sunday. Hopefully, the weather holds out.

Here is a link to a VERY rudimentary test of the 5D2 with 16-35L on my Glidecam 2000 Pro.

Andrew that was awesome. the footage looks pretty useful. With some image stabilization in final cut the final outcome it's going to look just amaizing. How long it took you to balance it in the 2000?

Looks good. Although I have no idea what a glide cam is I can tell it was an improvement . The video quality looks great, especially for low light. Keep posting.

Lonnie,

Check this video out and you will see what the glidecam is. Don't mind the language.

Very cool piece of equipment and I can see a huge improvement on Andrew's video. Thanks for the link Luis.

Oh.. btw: I spent all of about 5min getting it somewhat balanced. I could get it better, but just wanted to give it a quick test. I haven't used the thing in over 4 years. LOL

Just checked out that video.. I do not own the harness..Mine is all handheld. And wow does he have that thing balanced great. Mine is nothing like that.
