Thanks, hopefully in a couple weeks I am going to go through and fine tune the whole thing. There are a lot of things I want to change. Mostly about how the pictures come to a stop.

I am not sure exactly, I was getting ready to do the project and I knew I wanted to do something different than a regular old slideshow. About a week before it was due I had the idea to include video so I had to setup a few extra shoots so I could get enough different footage to make it worth it. Once I had everything together, I started messing around in Apple Motion and was going to do a grid of all the pictures and zoom in, out and side to side around all the pictures. I dropped all the pictures in and started working with the program... Once I figured out how to make the picture come in at a weird angle the idea of coverflow just popped into my head. Kind of came from nowhere...

I did some research to see if there was some sort of plugin to help me get there as I had no idea where to start. Came across the plugin called coverflux that sets up the base for you and then all you have to do is keyframe the motion. Originally, I was just going to use the coverflow idea as the intro where you see the images fly in at the beginning. Then that would fade out and it would just go to a normal full screen fade in fade out slideshow. So I put the intro together and as I was waiting for it to export, I realized I could actually do the fly in and then make it keep going and do whatever the heck I wanted with it. I thought I was trapped with the normal coverflow idea, one image to the next. Once that hit me I said screw it and just went ahead and took the time to do the whole thing.

What helped a lot, I laid out the order in which I wanted to show the photos so I wasn't making it up as I was going along while I was putting it together.

I think it's pretty cool, I really like that you added in short video elements with the photos. The only problem I have is when it goes REALLY fast through the photos, it's a little disorienting I think. If you could somehow make it a little more fluid and not so abrupt it would be a more enjoyable viewing experience I think.

I know all that's easier said than done, but it's pretty great as it is.
