Right; $1 and no credit is much better than no dollar and full credit.

And let's not forget the "no royalty, no limits" distribution license that most microstock requires on photos! For that $1 purchase price, the buyer gets to use that image forever, in everything they want to use, everywhere, and the photographer gets nothing more than his original token payment.
