EXIF Information
By Michael Topham
EXIF stands for Exchangeable Image File Format and it’s used by almost all digital cameras to record extra information about an image as it is taken. This extra information includes shutter speed, aperture values, and even lens information. It’s extremely important to take a look back at camera settings so you can get an idea of what settings worked successfully – and what didn’t!
This video lesson looks into File Info that can be found under File in the Menu bar in both Elements and Photoshop. It’s one of the easiest ways to access EXIF data and you can even add more information to your pics.
