I have done a little of this in the past.. This gives me more motivation to shoot some abstract stock textures to utilize in the future.

Nice intro.

I did something similar a few months back when I visited the Hobby Airport 1940s Terminal. Over 1/2 my shots were of various textures. SO I used one to "memorialize" the terminal:

Him erasing the texture to reveal the couple is a big no-no. Perhaps David could use a lesson on layer masks?
