There are three lights that run off the same tiny battery pack, Jordan in this video used the middle of the three the 160w powered one (similar to a AB400 in power)They are new lights we are testing out from Denny's Mfg. I think the price of them are not even set yet, but will be tomorrow (Monday) I am told by Denny himself.

Also the softboxes all fold out like an umbrella so the set up and break down takes about 30 seconds in all.

Louis, Ming, Tom and John

Thank you for the feedback - honestly they are pretty cool, mixed in with our wireless flash softbox we are testing out we will have the best of both worlds I think.

I'm confused about the lighting set up, but I so want to figure this out!! So please forgive what might be obvious to everyone but confusing to me.

Are you using radio poppers AND the ST-E2 tramsmitter to fire the flash, or just the radio poppers? I wanna learn but as of right now I'm kind of

damn it... I'm holding off my holiday purchase till tomorrow and see what the prices of these things might be. I'm in the market for a softbox that will work with my QFlash.
The one that Quantum offers is just too small.

Hey, sorry for the confusion. There will be two different sets released. The one you see in this video is the studio strobes. They come in 100w, 160w and 320w. The battery pack weighs 4 to 5 lbs with the battery. The battery itself is interchangeable with spare batteries you could purchase along with a multi-charger. In other words, you can have 3 batteries to swap out on location if you pick up the accessories. This series is also capable of plugging up into the wall for in studio shoots, or if you are on location with a power plug.

The second series will be a TriCoast branded set. Because we shoot TTL using Radiopopper, ST-E2 and multiple 580s, Denny's created a lighter version of softboxes and octoboxes with complementing mounts for the flash. (Canon, Nikon, Sony, etc...)

Release date and pricing will be announced later this week.
