I dropped out from Photo Biz and went back to my own design/host for my primary, client-facing website.

There are a thousand ways to skin a cat, or design a website - this is one; and hopefully it's different than most of what you see these days.

I have a few reservations about it myself (things I'm still tweaking). Just curious what everyone else thinks...

Really like the photos "fly away" when you click on them in the subsets, Kevin.....but when I first went to the site I clicked on the center and of course, nothing happened.

Took me awhile to figure out that I needed to use the pull down menu.

But it showcases your stellar work really well.

Thanks Jeff - I agree, there is some intuitiveness missing. That's one of the aspects I'm working on today...

Also, if anyone could post some screen captures for me, I'd like to see what you see on various monitor resolutions and proportions.

Thanks !!!

I really like the layout of the site and the colors, and I do think that the photo "animation" is well done and seems to be an enhancement.

The only nit I have is the "God is Light" on every page -- it makes the entire site seem less professional to me.

I can live with that Light is everything in Photography and I'm willing to sacrifice a little professionalism in exchange for a subtle message of my faith

Oooohhh cool - the iphone redirect (to my Exposure Manager site) is working.

I think you have a good idea, but I think you might lose some users because it is so different. I also think that you might want to think of adding some type of thumbnails or something so someone doesn't have to flip through all the pictures. Although it is fun and different some people just like to scan and then click the ones they want to see. Also having some sort of thumbnail or something similar allows them to be able to see more of your work at a glance. Just some thoughts.
