Give it to me...good and bad. - 03-18-2011, 04:32 PM

I'm looking to get back into my business after 2 years at bay...I need to refresh my website. Can i get some good feedback and critique? I need to revamp but don't want to waste time going in a direction that won't really benefit me.

Don't hold back...even if you feel the need to comment on pictures on my site that might be good or bad. I want to represent my work at its best, as we all do.

I caught a spelling error in one of the first pages I looked at. Run spell check on all the pages. Also, I see no explanation of what hand tinting is, people may have no idea. You need to describe it somewhere. Then on the Rendi page... I couldn't read anything it said because the images you have behind the text are way too busy for background material.

On the gallery page, you have an image of candy colored fake flowers. This may sound silly but my first thought was, "Can this person not get a client high end enough to have real flowers?" Like only the cheap people go to you because you're all they can afford. I'm sure that's not the message you want to give out! That's just my humble opinion though, and you know what people say about those!

The first pic that comes up on the children page is really blown out.

In safari, in same window mode, your logo is cut off.

Speaking of your logo, it has too many fonts. Never do a logo with more than 2 fonts.

Besides all of this, I think it's plenty easy to navigate and I like the colors. You may look into something that is mobile compatible. I didn't see if that was available, but flash isn't available on iPhones which are the most popular mobile phone right now.

+1 too Laura, also mandatory music on a website always annoys me
