Pardon me for asking silly questions...I'm a Photoshop Geek but just started teaching myself web design in the last couple of months. (and thank one of your members for correcting my spelling)

This is a simple site.....no fancy flash stuff....haven't got there yet.

The silly question: why, when I save a button graphic in Image Ready, does it have a blue outline unless I overlay the text and then leave in layers before optimizing? If I flatten the button...it comes out the wrong size on the index page and has an outline. I make it the same size as the other buttons (In fact I copy the other buttons for a starting place)and make sure to uncheck the "constrain" button when making the button longer.

I have been trying to correct all the drop shadows so they are consistent on the index page. A good friiend gave me a jump start on this page a couple of years ago and It just keeps evolving....kind of takes on a life of its own.

I did give Texas Photo Forum top billing on my "links" section. This is a great forum.

I am totally open to any suggestions.

Thanks,
Vickie

If the image is showing with an outline on your website, are you using the borders=0 option? Inside the img tag include that and it should get rid of any border, if it's a web issue and not part of the image itself.
