Bring it on, I'm not scared! There's no guarantee I'll change anything, tho. I already know about a few things that are no-no's. I just wanna see it thru some different eyes.

I like the homepage and about text. I really wish there was a nav link back to the main page from the Blog though... or that it wouln't open in a new window, or something. Contact form is sparse, but at least it WORKS *cough cough*. And maybe I'm dense, but what is the "featured wedding" section for?

Michelle,
I was thinking maybe you might want to put your gallery link first instead of placing the Login, About, Blog, Contact, etc on the top line. Everytime I visit a photographers site, the first thing I want to see is a link to the pictures! Then if i'm interested i move onto the pricing, then contact, maybe a blog, etc....I'm just thinking w/ a shoppers mentality :)
Also, I didn't see a way to get back to the Home page once I took the other links. I really wanted a way to get back there w/ out having to click the back button.

I started them in alphabetical order and added on login 'cuz I kept getting emails looking for it, then the wedding thing at the end. What you said makes much mroe sense, that's exactly the kind of help I was looking for! Thanks! I will fix that.
I knew about the home link already, I currently have the logo graphic linking to home, but most people don't try that so I know I need to make a Home link.
THANK YOU, THANK YOU! | | | |

It looks nice. I might recommend placing the text on a white background to make it easier to read. It's one of the number one complaints by web surfers when trying to get information from a website.

I love it and I LOVE your photos! The only comment I would make is to agree about the blog... it would be great if it was more integrated with the rest of the site (background, same window, links, etc.).
Also, the only thing I couldn't find that I was looking for is information about the website itself. (Clients probably don't care as much, but I'm curious...) I take it you designed it yourself? What did you use - especially for the slideshow on the front page?
Nice job!!

| I wouldn't say I designed it, I started with Pedro Gilberto's template for Gallery 2 and just worked from there. I used to "design" my own sites, but not enough time these days.
The slideshow if from Flash Relief it's the best one I found for what I wanted and the proofing area (most of which are password-protected so you can't see the albums) is from http://gallery.menalto.com/ with the PG theme. I have the digibug module installed for ordering prints, but I just signed up with Miller's so I will use them for weddings and special things I think. (at a higher price of course) I host with Lunarpages and they include 35000 Megabytes Storage for the basic plan and 50000 Megabytes Storage for the business plan, which is what I have. I have been using them for years, with other sites I have since killed and can honestly say I think they are the best! I tried the cheap-o hosts before and always had issues, these guys are still cheap enough and never have issues.

ok, i'm updating my menu now, i'm thinking i should change "recent shoots" to view proofs" i think recent shoots might imply that there's more portfolio, when really it is a place to order pictures. don't ya think?
